Bugsbee was a small sawmill community located on the west side of the Florida East Coast railroad tracks in the vicinity of 28°13'27.4"N 80°40'22.2"W (former Gannett/Florida Today building). It was closely tied to the nearby sawmill community of Pineda, but had it's own sawmill, cattle pens, and comissiary. It also was home to a moonshine still during prohibition.[1][2]
