This "Ranger" badge on the center of the grille actually dates it pretty precisely, to either 1968 or 1969. The grille would be remodeled entirely the next year.

Good ol bailing wire mirrors. Between this and the general condition, my thought is that this was a long-dead, long-parked farm truck that was finally hauled out if it's resting place in the field.
